This week in life skills we are getting back into the swing of things since 

the Holidays! We jumped right into a Farm Theme week...First up was talking about 

how farmers help us and what type of animals are found on a farm. Then of course we 

had to take a survey of who liked Chocolate milk, White milk and Strawberry milk

...Can you guess which flavor won?!

  LOL chocolate was by far the winner!!! 

               I'm planning on having the guys make chocolate milk on Thursday for our cooking day.              We have also made several crafts such as making sheep with cotton balls and then 

          making  cows from a paper plate. Today is hump day and we have made dirty little pigs!! 

Such fun we have in life skills....

I did a little shopping at the Dollar Tree & got these 

Magnet letters & a cheap cookie sheets for the guys

to practice spelling their sight words on. 

We also have these cool tables that my boss purchased 

For our room that have a dry erase top to use with dry erase markers!! 

The guys thought it was neat to draw on the tables😀

was to make a turkey from a donut 

using pretzel sticks & candy eyes!👀🦃🍩

Have mentioned how much I love my laminator?

Seriously it's amazing for little projects like this...

I printed off some coffee mugs online then just colored and numbered them

ran them through the laminator & now I have cute coffee mugs 

for counting!

I got these bulletin board signs in a pack at Dollar Tree for $.25!

I again ran them through my laminator & I can use them for multiple 

signage in my room! 

Made this fishing activity with construction paper, my laminator and magnets! 

The guys loved going indoor fishing & we were also learning counting, 

  color sorting & practicing hand eye coordination

This I made for my life skills room from a cheap little 

sticker set at the Dollar Tree. All I had to do was run everything through 

my laminator & ta-da I have a long lasting Recycling activity! 

This really helps the guys with learning another life skill😀
